Guest Bloggers Sought

We're looking to freshen up here by getting some other people to put a post or two up.

How about you? I'm sure you'd be great!

Or suggest someone else?

There should be a weekly Mellow Yellow report.

id be more than happy to do some uni and elite mens posts. As well as wetnose bashing what ever floats your boat.

Not Jangles. Anyone but Jangles!

But maybe someone could do a weekly segment that includes a quick write up of the games in BPL. And someone else could do that same for YUFL (thats a bit more difficult with the 2 locations).

Looks like me might have to get Jangles and Wetnose to preview the next season of BPL in a week or two.

MORE WOMEN'S ULTIMATE PLEASE. Get Danielle or Bree to write it.

Maybe if womens ultimate actually got off the ground and did anything rather than just being in the same place its been for the past few years then there would be something to write about.

...sigh...bring on the love!

I reckon we could just put a post each week with a link to the UQ page for an update on that. Starting next season. And JDR you might notice a post went up about the final, OMG!

OMG THAT MAN WHO POSTED ABOUT WOMENS LEAGUE BEING UNWRITABLE IS AWESOME!

Wait..... he posted anonymously, -1.
Way to stand behind the veil.

I draw thee attention to John Gabriel's "Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory"

However i do agree that there is little in the Womens League world that is headline making. But throw your name behind such an assertion

On a side. I pitch the name for the UQ news post....."Love Letters"

Sounds cool

Will there is already at least one club in Brisbane with the kinda image that UQ is quickly attaining. It is called The Beat. Would prefer not to be the next one. Although apart from that the name is catchy.

the beat has standards Pete they dont just let everyone in! unlike UQ

Yeah, gee, the state of women's Ultimate, hey? Unbelievable... With such a helpful and supportive community as these comments are demonstrating, I don't know how women are feeling so unwelcome...

Nice one, boys. Maybe if we can amp this up a little, we could create the world's first all-male Ultimate city.

well it seems that QUT is again doing the reverse of every other mixed team around. we have 2 guys and 6 girls for uni games. with a few more girls coming along to check it all out apparently. I swear getting rid of wetnose couldnt have worked out so well.

As for womens ultimate many of the girls that get recruited at uni arent in the game to play against other girls. They are there to play with guys, this is not all girls however.

Single-gender ultimate is viewed as more competitive and "serious" then mixed ultimate, and girls are far less likely to be more competitive and serious in sport than boys. It's science. I've done the research and everything.
