Ye Olde Order Changeth!

Long time readers of the Brisbane Ultimate Blog may remember this post.

And here we are some years later, and I've resigned the job. I flagged the change with the QUDA Executive just after the AGM at the State Championships, and have now emailed all and sundry.

Time for the break that I was originally planning to have when I was finishing up all the AFDA Board stuff way back then!

I should write a big long look at what worked and didn't, who to thank, and all that. But, its time for a break. Maybe it'll all come out in dribs and drabs on your favourite blog. Maybe something else will happen. I must've done a reasonable job, as nobody really called 'check feet' that I can recall!

All Your Mondays Have Come At Once!

Lurking around the water coolers of Brisbane offices is a blogger desperate for inspiration. After surveying the landscape, we must say that it's been a long time coming. The following conversations were recorded:

"...not enough blogposts! I've been getting so much work done. At this rate, I'll be made redundant by August!"

"I've noticed far to many similarities between recent BUB blogposts and recent Dojo blogposts."

We here at the Imperial Palace have never been known to encourage redundancy, with the exception of some politicians, of course.

It sounds like someone's got a case of the Mondays, so we here at the BUB are giving you all the resources you need to make your Monday totally unproductive. It's as if all your Mondays were coming at once!

In the style and manner (or lack-there) of Sam Simmons, I will endeavour to post on the hour, every (working) hour for the day of Monday (30th May 2011). To make this even more impressive and to highlight the benefits and responsibilities that come with (not) going to uni, I'll let you in on a secret. I won't even be using a fancy phone. If it's 9am and I haven't posted yet, that's your fault for starting work early. This post counts for 9am. I may also have a lunch break like the rest of you.

But for now, rest is warranted, lest these posts turn to mindless rambling.

Less Than Two Weeks Until Badman's Bash

We know lots of you are planning to go - do the guy a favour and let him know you're coming by registering. Registering of course also means you get to stay with the group and enjoy yourself.

this will take us on a tour of the byron highlights
and maybe even pop down to lennox
yes we are able to drink on the bus (:
this will take us to the byron brewery for dinner/party
and there will be a bus to take us back to cabins
this is included in fee (except for fri dinner)but i will get us a deal
if you could russle up some more drinking buddies/ultimate players, the more the merrier
please get them to register as the accomodation needs to be prepaid
